Rural and Urban Area Poverty

Hey Hey family!!

As shown this week we introduced the various types of poverty. So now we are taking a dive into what they actually mean and how they impact children and parents. Below is a recap image of the various types of poverty from this week.

This week we’ve started diving into Poverty and specifically kids poverty, because if it impacts the children then it impacts the parents as well

Rural

Located outside of cites and towns, populated typically under 50,000 residents, open lands, and or countryside, can be classified as an rural area

How poverty EASE its way in?

Living in rural areas can be extremely Depressing with a dead end way of living.

People in rural area lack job opportunities, healthcare access, sustainable housing. Educational schools and resources, sanitation and financial products.

Imagine living in an area with no access to 5G or wifi, cable, and cell phones? Wouldn’t it seem as if you were placed in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere?

WHAT does that have to do with you!?

Absolutely nothing!! But how could you see a hungry child somewhere and notice their parents couldn’t afford to really cover what they wanted at an obvious CHEAP price?! While the child appears to look hungry.?? I can’t imagine turning a blind eye when I am in a predicament to help!!

I mean……Rural areas are extremely treacherous but if you can afford to To send food or help out just one family who appreciates it, then You as a person will feel much better at making a difference in peoples lives who appreciate it.

States with Rural areas

West Virginia, Vermont, Maine, Kentucky, Alabama and more,

URBAN

Urban areas are similar to Rural areas, but they also differ and can differ drastically in various cases.

Urban areas are classified as areas that are occupied by more than 50,000 people, which is surrounded buildings, housing, non-residential land, bridges and or any other structures built by man.

States that have urban cities

New York, Philly, Chicago, Cali, Nevada, Maryland, Rhode Island and more.

Urban areas are affected by poverty because the cost of living and food is higher, and there aren’t many healthy food choices which leads to either loss of appetite or other illnesses caused by lack of nutrition that the body needs.

To me it seems as if these areas are meant to stay in the same shape that they are in. If a state can have a city within an state ( with the exception of DC right now) then that means they still are apart of the state. Why is it not affordable things, better food options and schools offered to these people as well?? THEY ARE PEOPLE TOO!!

For myself live in Washington DC which is city which is called the metropolitan area. And I can honestly say that although I am not in an homeless or poor predicament, I do have school credentials and more, because I know this is what majority of people in my area would not do based off the same reasons as mentioned before.

Conclusion

Each class of people depends on each other. The only people who get the short end of the stick are poor residents. They have no one to depend on. Even in jail or prison you get 3 hots and a cot. Meaning at least in prison they feed you three meals and give you a bed.

Most lower class or poor individuals don’t even eat a meal every night. Imagine yourself not eating even after you are extremely hungry?? You would get a bad headache, blurred vision, and begin to get sick because your body is use to eating!!! Well imagine almost never eating and want too so bad and cannot eat because you are in poverty. Imagine a child going through the same issues. Health. Schools, food and more!!

I cannot imagine myself as a mayor or governor and not provide at-least the basic needs, transportation access and government sponsored food programs to people in need. Poverty doesn’t discriminate anything can happen in your life where you could loose it all.

Stay humble, spread love!
